The staff was very friendly and attentive. Customer service is super important to me. Some of the food lacked seasoning like the mashed potatoes for an example, but there was salt and pepper on the table. The bathrooms weren’t clean. Some of the food needed to be pulled from the buffet , but overall it was worth $13 per adult. Sweet tea, water, and unsweet tea are free with the buffet. The building is older, but I love the 90s nostalgia feel. The restaurant also has a 100 on the restaurant inspection! I would recommend.

First time here was today. This looks like it used to be an old Shoney's restaurant. This is Sunday and most of the patrons look like they were 60 or older. The cashier and servers were all nice and the restaurant was clean and bathroom. Here's the skinny. For me the best food items were the squash casserole, fried Green tomatos and the chicken. The roast beef was also good. They didn't have as many items as the average buffet. What items that they did have seem plentiful and look like they were brought out fresh. I also had the cheesecake and the yellow cake with the icing. I didn't like the cheesecake that much it had more of a artificial chemical taste to it to me like the topping was like a strawberry tasting syrup kind of thing but it didn't taste like fresh strawberries at all it tastes more like "artificial flavored" if you know what I mean. The yellow cake was very dry. I could pour a gallon of milk on that and it would absorb every last drop. The stats: Food - 4. Wait staff & cashier -5. Atmosphere - 3. Overall - 4. The total deal.. if you are hungry and in the area and don't want to eat "fast food" go check it out.

A roach came walking up the middle of the table after we had just finished eating. We "eeked," and smashed the roach, waitress came over, said nothing, but took the napkin with the roach in it.

There was no offer or apology of any kind! This was in January! My group will NOT be going back! If the roach is walking during the light of day, imagine how many there must be at night? Sorry, but will not be coming back!

If your looking for lots of food at a good price, this buffet is for you. The decor is dated, but it is clean, the staff is friendly and the food makes up for it. The food always seems fresh and there is a good variety. The menu of what’s on the bar changes for each day of the week. The fried chicken is delicious and salad bar is fresh. They have fresh fruit and the tea is delicious. They also have desert’s including peach cobbler and a soft serve machine.

Server/cashier was nice. They don’t walk you to your table or bring you your drinks which was weird. The best thing on the menu was the fried chicken it was good and seasoned. Very limited options. The mashed potatoes were instant potatoes and not good. The Salisbury steak tasted like a frozen tv dinner. The greens and sweet potatoes were descent. The salad bar was lacking. The desserts were not good at all. Frozen cheesecake mediocre cobbler, and the ice cream machine didn’t work. The cake was over baked and dry as the desert. I would compare the food to hospital food.

You will feel like you are at home when you are here. I noticed they have a lot of regulars. The lady at the register (super sweet and friendly) even knows the name of her customers!!! How often do you see that these days? I also thought it was nice that they left food and water outside for the cats.

Never got a refill on my Ice Tea. There are a lot of regulars that they take care of. You can tell by the banter. I was there for 35 minutes and had no beverage. I know $13+3 tip is not a lot of money. But at least one refill would have helped. Food is great.

This buffet is, hands down, the worst I’ve ever experienced. It felt like they managed to remove flavor from food in a way that defies science. It’s as if they said, "What if we served food... but without the flavor?" Mission accomplished. The options were so minimal, I thought I was at a “choose your own disappointment” event.

The dessert table? A catastrophe. The cobbler—whether it was peach or apple (hard to tell)—was an undercooked disaster. The cheesecake tasted more like a chemistry experiment gone wrong, and the yellow cake? If I wanted to break a tooth, I'd chew on concrete.

I could go on, but let me save you some time and money: stay far, far away from this place. Trust me, hunger is a better option.
