I should have followed my original plan and paid more for my Cabinets. Buyer BEWARE!!

I will update this as the events evolve, but I want to help anyone who is on the fence about whether or not this company is in ANY way on par with regular cabinet companies. From the quality of the cabinets actually delivered to the fraudulent installation company they use, the answer is a resounding NO!

UPDATE: after filing the the BBB, CTG agreed that it was fair to refund me for the installation. When I asked for the refund, they told me that since they already paid Installed Right they couldn't help me. Now I never signed off that the installation was complete, yet they paid the subcontractor in full without holding them accountable for the installation. DO NOT GIVE THEM ONE DIME. Check other reviews on multiple places for both CTG and Installed Right: yelp, BBB, Facebook and more.

Cabinets to Go subcontracts it's installation to Installed Right. They in turn subcontract to other Small businesses. As Installed Right is HQ in Michigan they don't do any vetting or background checks on the installation companies. Neither Cabinets to Go, nor Installed Right even had the proper address on file for their sub sub contractor. Transcend Renovations LLC gave them a parking lot of a gas station. The company even gave the GA Secretary of State a fraudulent business address. This conman owner John Smithson came in my home with my child and grandchild pretending to be an expert. He quoted me top dollar to do the extra work that Cabinets to Go doesn't handle: plumbing, electrical, etc. I paid it upfront as I thought Cabinets to Go was a big brand and I just didn't want any drama.

My cabinets were ordered in May and it is now September. The cabinets were delivered with some damage and they look cheap against my expensive marble. Next, the installer was teaching his crew how to put the cabinets together and install them ON THE JOB AT MY EXPENSE. I had to tell one guy he wasn't putting the doors on a level floor but on a rug and they were crooked.

Next the installers were incapable of putting the drawer pulls on level, botched the GFCI outlet installation, never did the plumbing, and ultimately refused to do the simple puck light installation that I already paid Transcend Renovations LLC for. He said he didn't know how to do it.

So the marble guys improperly installed their marble because Transcend installed the base cabinets at a slant. At this point I am at a standstill because most of the cabinets have nicks, scratches or holes or were damaged upon delivery.

Cabinets to Go has not responded to my complaint. When I talked to them they were like "Well this is way more than a simple complaint." I had to give both Cabinets to Go and Installed Right John Smithsons home address because they didn't even know where he was located.

To pay upfront for cabinets that already were not smooth, and where the paint comes off easily and then to have the installers damage the exterior, these cabinets look like I've had them for years. Just JUNK!

I asked for a refund, and I get it I'll update this review. But let me say this: it's not worth it. The lifetime warranty is a joke. It hasn't been installed yet and I can't get my cabinets fixed.

THE BOTTOM LINE: Cabinets to Go sells shoddy cabinets, the paint comes off and they don't fix problems as promised. But even more importantly they don't vet their crews so for your safety DONT let them in your home.

I posted in NextDoor about my experience and a neighbor told me they know someone who used to work at Cabinets to Go and it's a scandalous company. I'm going to get the stories from her and share on my TikTok and likely go to the media. They have no idea who I know. They picked the right one. Stay tuned

In general not happy
I've seen negative feedback and thinking maybe they are ok but i was wrong.
First sales person who shows us was really nice and good no complain.
Counter top installation was delayed then after it was installed it came in 3 pcs so there is like small step that is visible not understand why it couldn't be in one piece so it is poor.
Also we didn't have kitchen for 2mo plus company who does counter tops not answering phone we have to call cabinets to go in order to get answers.
If someone looking to renovate the kitchen DO NOT go with them.

We didn’t know what to expect but as soon as we walked in, Daniel made us feel at ease. He took time to explain the different cabinet choices, countertop and flooring choices as well. We could see the 3D design of our kitchen so we can see things in “real life”. I am glad we chose Cabinets To Go for our kitchen remodel!

I’m not a happy customer if I could cancel this entire project and process I would . Granco the granite subcontractor is the worse. I will not be recommending them. I expected better but didn’t get it so my bad

We had a spectacular experience at Cabinets to Go in Lilburn! We knew nothing about Cabinets to Go or cabinets in general. All we knew is that they were going to be very expensive. When we met Carmine and learned about the build your own cabinet line, we very quickly knew that we had come to the right place and never looked elsewhere. Carmine was great to work with. He was patient as we learned the process and responsive to our questions. He was also patient when we adjusted the design. He told us that putting in the cabinets together would be fairly easy and he was right…once we got the hang of it. It saved us a lot of money! He even suggested that we wait to place the order because the flash sale was coming up the next day that saved us a lot more money! We needed a little more fill material than expected and he had an extra piece laying around in the warehouse that he gave us. I will always return to a place that puts the customer and goes the extra mile for them! As far as the cabinets go…we love them! We went with the Malibu White because that particular color offered the most size options, which worked best for us. I was not expecting a lifetime warranty with the base cabinet line, but when you look at how they’re built it’s easy to see that they are designed to last. They look great and have a very tough surface, which I believe is lacquer, tongue and groove cabinets and self closing doors.

Fraud FRAUD FRUAD……..DO NOT USE THEM…Still no RESPONSE.ShyT SERVICE… paid 18 thousand dollars and they half did my kitchen and bath vanity.. my backsplash is uneven… broken.. cabinets not aligned properly.. space in between appliances … too much to type… see pics…
