Hier scheint der Betrug Standard zu sein. Knapp 30€ Reinigung werden hier grundsätzlich allen Kunden nach Beendigung der Miete am Abend von der Kreditkarte abgezogen, obwohl bei der Abgabe angeblich alles in Ordnung war. Absolut unverständlich wie billiger-mietwagen.de das tolerieren kann. Beschwerde ist raus!

Update: 99€ kommen noch für einen Grenzübertritt nach Deutschland on top. Wow!

Vorsicht Betrug. Bei Rückgabe des Wagens hieß es alles sei okay. 30 Minuten später habe ich eine Rechnung über 200 € wegen starker Verschmutzung bekommen. Als dies nicht nachgewiesen werden konnte, hieß es zwei Tage später es sei ein komischer Geruch im Wagen gewesen.

VORSICHT! Kein Hinweis auf den Anbieter bei der Mietwagenstation am Flughafen Salzburg! Man wird mit dem Taxi erst nach Anruf zu einem Parkhaus gefahren. Dort musste ich mindestens zwei Stunden anstehen und auf den Wagen warten. Ich bekam einen kleineren Wagen (Citroen C4 statt C5, angeblich selbe Klasse). Musste aufgrund des geringen Platzes ein Upgrade bezahlen und bei Rückgabe wurden pauschal 30€ Reinigungsgebühr im Nachgang verlangt. Das Auto hatte auch schon einige Vorschäden.

Finger weg. Unseriöses Unternehmen.
Man wird aufgefordert eine Versicherung in Höhe von 29 €/Tag abzuschließen obwohl über den Broker bereits eine Versicherung mit Selbstbeteiligung besteht. Weitere Kosten in Höhe von 100€ für die Grenzüberfahrt nach Deutschland. Es handelt sich um ein Betrugsunternehmen

Vorsicht, Betrug mit versteckten Kosten! Der Vermieter lässt einen vor Ort einen Vertrag unterschreiben, der eine ganze Palette an zusätzlichen Kosten mit sich bringt, unabhängig von den gewählten Versicherungen. Rückgabe nach den Öffnungszeiten - 50 Euro. Bearbeitungsgebühr bei Schäden - 299 Euro. Grenzübertritt - 99 Euro pro Übertritt (was bei Urlauben in der Region sehr schnell passieren kann). Verpflichtende Reinigung - 25 Euro. Und so weiter…. habe so etwas noch bei keiner anderen Mietwagenfirma erlebt. Absolut dreist!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY!!!

I rent vehicles from all over Europe on a regular basis and have never encountered a company as corrupt and dishonest as this.

They will tell you, you need an international driving permit, no matter if you’re from a country that doesn’t need one, in my case, I didn’t. They state it’s a €29 a day charge, however they don’t tell you this is actually their “lazy pack 3” insurance.

How convenient, you HAVE to take out the top level of insurance package if you don’t have an IDP that you don’t actually need?!?

Luckily, I then read the reviews on TrustPilot and Google which stated their next scam is that people were getting charged a ‘cleaning fee’ for retuning their vehicles without having them washed first.

Again, a first for any car I have hired around the world in over 25 years is having to have it professionally washed upon return.

However, reluctantly, I played the game and had the vehicle washed both inside and out at the car wash below the parking lot of the return office, a cost of €13…only to be charged a cleaning fee of €25 by Dryyve to my card once I returned home.

I wrote a complaint email to Dryyve about being forced to take out the IDP at an additional cost and the cleaning fee.

I was even more shocked to receive an email back from their customer services to confirm that, I indeed didn’t need an IDP and that in-fact, it was MY choice to take the additional insurance? Though strangely enough, there’s the charge for IDP on my invoice? Maybe I just wanted to pay more for a IDP I didn’t need just for the fun of it.

As for the cleaning fee, that wasn’t going to be refunded either as, the professional machine car wash supposedly didn’t wash it how they wanted it, even though the photos I attached in the email to them, clearly showed a sparkling clean car.

Never and I repeat, never rent a car from these sharks. Avoid at all costs!!!!

In total, extra charges of €99.37 added post rental to my credit card for absolutely nothing!!!

The photos show the vehicle returned to the office after being washed, though apparently not to standard?!

I rented Dryyve’s car for a day in Salzburg, Austria. They overcharged me 29 Euros under cleaning charges when the car was completely clean (I have pictures of the car). There was dust, of course, after driving for a day, but washing the car is never the responsibility of the customer. When I asked the counter lady why? She said that I cannot give this car to other people in this condition. Never had such a reply from any car rental company in any part of the world before this.

Apart from this, I booked from booking.com and got full insurance from them but when I got to the counter to pick the car, the lady said that booking.com is third-party insurance and doesn’t cover full liability. Out of fear, I had to buy Dryyve’s full insurance as well. Ultimately, the car cost me double what I expected. Not recommended at all. These people are not transparent and they misuse your credit card details as a threat. Don’t hand them your credit card (I made that mistake).

God knows what other charges they would have slapped us after detailed inspection. I had to stop my credit card that I had given to them so that they won’t charge us further.
