I have been under the care of Dr. Acosta since 2009. I willingly drive over two hours to see her for any office visit. She was and always will be well worth the drive. Now that she has opened up her concierge services, it is even better. She is brilliant, kind and compassionate and takes the time to confirm all of your needs. I would thoroughly recommend Dr. Acosta to anyone who is looking for a phenomenal endocrinologist.

Dr. Acosta has been by far one of the best physician's I have ever seen. Her expertise and knowledge were excellent. She inspires confidence and did a thorough history and physical exam, explaining lab results precisely! The whole process was outstanding. I feel so fortunate in having found such a great doctor! I'd give her 10 stars! The office staff was excellent, which nowadays is an exception in Miami! Kudos to the staff as well!

My first time going and I truly recommend Dr. Brenda Acosta and the facility. Although the office is in Coral Gables its very easy to find and love the fact that there's plenty space to park at the building garage. The office validates the ticket and you pay a fraction of the price. This is a big plus. The office is very clean, the staff
seems friendly. It was a pleasant visit with Dr. Brenda Acosta as she makes you feel very comfortable and she's very knowledgeable. Very self explanatory, love the fact she explained in simple terms and not so much with medical terminology that only causes more confusion. Took her time and not so much in a rush.
My overall first experience was great. Hope others find this review helpful.

Dr. Brenda Acosta is an excellent endocrinologist in the Miami area. She’s fluent in English and Spanish and has excellent communication skills with her patients. She takes her time, answers all your questions and explains everything in a very detailed manner. I am very fortunate to have Dr. Acosta as my endocrinologist and highly recommend her. The office staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I never had any issues scheduling appointments and the waiting time to be seen by the doctor is very minimal. I have never had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seen on the day of my appointments. The medical field needs more doctors like Dr. Acosta and any hospital or group that she’s affiliated with is lucky to have her. Best wishes to her and her staff! Dr. Acosta is an outstanding doctor. When my gifted surgeon referred me to her, I knew she must be excellent. After meeting her, I can honestly say I am so grateful to be in her very knowledgeable & caring hands. Dr. Acosta explains patients' conditions & treatments in great detail. She answers every question with patience. Her sharp intellect & ability to explain things clearly allows the patient to feel comfortable/aware. She draws as she explains to give patients a visual of what she is saying; very few doctors take so much time to ensure their patients are informed. In addition, Dr. Acosta truly cares for her patients' well being. When she wanted to ensure I was doing a very important urine collection correctly, she called me herself. She called me immediately after getting my scan results. Also, her staff is wonderful: Office nurse Angie is very experienced & diligent; she was always there to guide me during treatment. Assistant Julie is very astute & kind. The receptionist is professional. In essence, I very highly recommend Dr. Acosta.

I had a great experience.

I want to take a second and give a shout out to Julie, I'm not sure what her last name is or what her occupation is but wow, what an incredible human being.

I got some not so great thyroid ultrasound results and of course, I was somewhat panicking. I needed to get a biopsy done. I called maybe 18 doctors who told me the wait time would be anywhere from 6-12 weeks.

I called the office of Brenda Acosta and an angel by the name of Julie answered the phone. She was sweet, kind and she got me scheduled within a few days.

I showed up for the biopsy and Julie was there. I wish they gave numbing cream for the procedure, as they only use this cooling spray that is supposed to resemble ice.

The needle went in 6 times as I had 2 nodules. I made a squeamish sound as I felt pain and the doctor told me if I made a sound, the procedure would take longer.

Julie held my hand through it all and I squeezed her hand several times as it was the only thing I could really do.

This level of kindness is rarely seen anymore. I felt a little dizzy after so I was led into a room and Julie offered me those candy worms. I happily ate 2. I cannot emphasize how her level of kindness and love made me feel. I felt like I was being taken care of my mom.

Julie, if you read this, thank you.

Now in regards to the doctor, I'm super thankful they squeezed me in. She mentioned they typically don't do this often, as they only take patients from other endocrinologist offices, not PCP and for that I am also thankful to the doctor. She seems very Knowledgeable and good at what she does.

However, one thing I wanted to mention was that before the procedure started, I asked if I could go to the bathroom. Her response was "this girl is going to give me a heart attack". I understand shes quite busy but from a very nervous/anxious patients point of view, that comment was unnecessary.

I tend to feel the urge to pee when I'm nervous. I made sure to be quick and pee.

But besides that it was a great experience, mostly for Julie's care and attention.
