Simply amazing. The food is fresh, served hot, served with love and care. Host and hostess are great at making you feel welcome. We came back twice in three days, I think that says enough. Would 100% recommend. Beware, not suitable for vegetarians/vegans

Small, traditional looking place run by a Belgian couple. Food is a mixture of Belgian and German fare, excuisitly executed. The food was mindblowingly good and service very friendly and attentive. The menu is not extensive, but this is likely what keeps the quality so high and has something for everyone. Limited wine choices, but likewise extremely good quality, at a very reasonable price point. Best food we had in 5 days in the area!

We spent a couple of nights at this B&B and the owners are lovely & caring and the location is about 2m from Monschau, which was surprisingly beautiful, so very convenient - 4 stars||We ate here both nights as the food was excellent and home cooked. We had local Trout and Schnitzel and I would give the food 4.5 stars. |The restaurant was busy both nights. Breakfast was ample and typically continental.||Accommodation is quite basic so if you are looking for luxury this is not your kind of place. However it's clean and has a TV and we slept well. We had an on suite but not all do! 3 stars ||There were nice touches such as a roof terrace you could sit out on, some of it sheltered from rain, a full fridge with reasonably priced drinks on a trust basis and great hosts.||All in all, this makes for a great stopover or mini break but is perhaps less suitable for a longer holiday for say more than a week but do give them a try. ||There is also a swimming lake about 11 km so not far away!||

Been visiting here annually for 15 years,touring on a motorcycle,my holiday would not be complete without seeing Ric and Bridget. ||The rooms are always very clean,the food is excellent and the regular customers are very friendly.||As soon as you arrive you will feel at home,if you are travelling by motorcycle there is garage parking,for cars there is a large car park. ||A great selection of German and Belgian beers are always available,also wines.||Hofen is only a few minutes by car to Monschau and 50 minutes from the Nurburgring.||I can't recommend Haus Venn Blick highly enough,well worth a visit if you are looking for accommodation or just a meal in the area.

The hotel is the start of the Wildnis Trail in the Eifel region. It's basic but very friendly and helpful staff and owners. The food is very good for German standards 🙂 ||||Rooms are basic but provide you all necessaries.||||A nice start for the trail.

Once again we returned to Haus Venn Blick to find nothing had changed, the food and hospitality||was as perfect as always, Ric and Bridget were perfect hosts and the food delicious, the room was clean and neat as it has always been and the wifi excellent, if you are ever in the Eiffel region you will be in the perfect location a walking holiday and Aachan, Cologne and many places of interest are within easy driving distance, for Monschau Xmas market it is ideal as there is a local bus shuttle to take you, give them a try I promise that you will not be disappointed.
