So- Hertz copied and pasted the same "Response from the owner" that they have stuck on every negative review within two minutes of me posting the original. And the link? Nothing to review a horrible employee or file a complaint is available. Just options to spend more money with Hertz- which I ain't gonna do.
Juan has cost Hertz/Thrifty/Dollar my business forever. All three companies use the same desk and employees at GSO. There's no do-overs for the kind of behavior that I endured and saw here, and the fact that I am seeing Juan listed in lots of other reviews tell me that they wouldn't improve if I gave them the chance.
I had made a reservation, as did about half a dozen others on my flight. Our plan landed on time, so you'd think they would have at least two or three cars ready to go, but couldn't be bothered. As I approached the line, I heard Juan shouting at people not to get in line unless they had a reservation, and that they were not getting a car when they got to the counter anyway. As I waited, Juan actually shouted at the person in front of me because he didn't shove someone out of the way. What's the big hurry if you're just going to kick us to the waiting area anyway Juan?
When I got to the desk, Juan actually blamed me because he had trouble finding the reservation when he misspelled my name. When I asked what the approximate wait time would be (at this point I had been there about 30 mins, and NO ONE had gotten a car yet), he swore at me. Literally. At that point, I told him to cancel the rental and left.
I went to the Avis desk right next to them, and was driving away from the airport (with no reservation this time) in less than ten minutes. Still no one had gotten any of the reserved cars from this bitter, tiny excuse for a man. But he was still shouting at them.
Icing on the cake? Juan refused to tell me his name, and doesn't wear a name tag. I only know his name because I overheard a coworker speaking with him. Based on the way she kept rolling her eyes at him, this behavior is just how Hertz management tolerates him.
Hertz, it's probably not in your best interest to have employees that are offended by the concept of having customers.

Consistently one of the worst Hertz locations I’ve had the displeasure of dealing with. Rude employees. Long waits for cars (if they have any) even with a reservation. Been a top tier Presidents Circle Hertz customer for years and I’d rather fly into another airport than deal with this poorly run branch. Been this way for years. Terrible terrible terrible. Do something about it Hertz.

The staff at Hertz in Southfield MICHIGAN were great! They were being nice to upgrade me....but the SUV was smaller than a full size car lol but great on gas. No one was at the Greensboro location at airport 11p.m. not used to airport being closed, it was nice they had a drop box and I took plenty of pictures to show it was in great shape and full of gas on return.

Rude workers, on top of that they did not have the car I rented and tried to put me into a smaller car but at the same price as the larger vehicle. Never again will I rent from this location. Apparently it is a franchise, that was the excuse the rep at the desk gave me. Usually Hertz is great, I have been a long time Gold member, this location is awful.

Juan was extremely rude, was told we could get a car but had to wait approximately 30 minutes to get a clean car. After waiting 45 minutes we went in was told to “wait in line, and I’ll get to everyone 1 at a time,” very aggressively by Juan as we were waiting in line. Then stood in line for him to say that to every single person that stepped in line. After entering in all our information, was told we would have to wait until there was a car ready. We sat in the waiting area only for him to tell the next person behind us, they didn’t have any cars available. We immediately left. Very unprofessional, wasteful of your time. Employees need retraining or to find another profession other than customer care.

Deceptive business practices!!!
Agreement says no fee for cancellation with 24 hours
Had to cancel, did so in 23 hours
Hertz charged full rental cost to my card - not the hold amount the full amount! 2 days before pickup time!
Here is the deal, called customer service and was told no problem you will get a refund in 7-10 business days- WHAT?
So they took a short term loan from me
Turned them in to the BBB.

Horrible customer service. Have had to call 5 times because employees say please hold immediately - once on hold for 15 minutes each time and then they will hang up the phone before you get a chance to speak.

Eventually once talking with someone(who was rude) , they said they booked and confirmed my reservation- and would sent me an email confirmation per usual. Never received a confirmation email - and once I called the 1-800 number of Hertz, there was no reservation ever created in the first place.

Waste of two hours, and a headache. Management needs to bring attention to this location..

Also, cannot book this location thru the Hertz app or website, So you have to call.

Great staff but ... no cars! Had a half hour wait, other folks had even longer waits. Then, the only available vehicle was a mini van. It looked like there were plenty of cars in the Hertz lot, so I don't understand reason for wait or lack of choice. Not a good start to my trip to NC.
