Worst experience ever. Had to rent car when ours experienced trouble during a trip. Car was given to us w/half tank of gas, dirty windshields, stunk like cigarette smoke, and crap all over the car (with something that looked like feces). Called them to discuss, and when you can get them to answer the phone, they are less than helpful. Louis, the manager, was in charge of this rental, and told us to return the car to the Chevy dealer, which we did on November 9. He charged us through November 11, when he "received the keys back to the vehicle". Would not adjust bill, for which we will now not be reimbursed for. Will reconsider renting from Hertz again, where we had been loyal customers, given this experience.

This car rental is a scam! They book a vehicle for you and when you go pick it up and they don't have the vehicle or a comparable they send you away to later charge you a cancellation fee and refuse to refund it to you. I had to delay my trip and pay more money for a last minute rental somewhere else because they did not have the vehicle they reserved for us or anything similar that would accommodate my family. We were disappointed to say the least. Then came the cancellation fee. What cancellation? We did not cancel anything. To add insult to injury they are refusing a refund. Scam artists! Do not rent from these people. I wish I could give them zero stars.

I reserved and paid for for a compact SUV and Hertz gave me Chevrolet Spark. This location does not honor Gold membership, so I spent 35 min checking out, most of that waiting in line, they tried to increase price so a few minutes was spent in discussion until they got back to quoted price, and a few minutes when staff was taking pictures of the car, approx. 12 pictures from all sides and angles. The car came with half full tank and maintenance issues. One tire was leaking 2-3psi per day therefore I needed re-inflate every few days. Spare tire was missing but fortunately I didn't need it.

In summary: I had generally good experiences with Hertz in the past but this is a bad Hertz location with bad service.

I have rented from this Hertz for years and never really had an issue. This is our first time back in a long time. I came to do a review today because I had to rent a car after getting into accident. It was through Geico. Customer Service by Stephanie Escobar was great. She is super chill and nice. And the highlight was that they actually check the cars when you return them. We left my Sunpass transponder and my husband’s handicap sticker inside of the car. Went back for it on Monday after returning the car on Friday and they had both of them. She also reminded me to put an end date on my Sunpass because I added the tag of the rental car to my account. Some of the cars are worn on the inside and they are actually like 2023s and 2024s. So that gets 4 stars. But the customer service was still 5 star imo.

I rent cars very often and I normally go to the airport. I wanted to give my local Hertz a chance and prepaid my booking online via the Hertz website. I got a good rate for a SUV for 5 passengers. Upon arrival to my reservation Ms Stephanie helped me and told me they did not have my vehicle in stock. She offered me a comparable vehicle. Be aware they may not give you what you booked. I ended up losing because the options they had (a truck or an electric vehicle) I could not use. I asked for a full size car and the rate is cheaper but it was difficult to redo the whole reservation over. Make sure you call a day prior or the day of to make sure they have your vehicle. The staff was all very friendly no issues with that.
