The absolute best! What a wonderful surgeon and staff. I can’t say enough about the patient care and details they go into the process. They are with you ever step of the way. Before, during and post-op. They make you comfortable throughout the entire experience. Results already look and feel fantastic. Hairline looks perfect and amazing!

Dr. Richard Chaffoo is exceptionally skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, and he always makes time to answer all of my questions and concerns. His entire staff is equally as professional, kind and personable. I have been so satisfied with their results, I have had work done twice at La Jolla Plastic Surgery- once in 2014, and then again in early January 2023. I would highly recommend him and his staff for any cosmetic surgery procedures.

Robert is the best! He gives honest advise and opinions and is just a super nice guy. He has worked with me several times and what he can do with the technology is amazing! There are physicians and then there are physicians who are so good they also train other physicians. Dr. Chafoo is the latter as I'm sure you can find from a Google search. World renowned for his skill and just a classy guy altogether. His staff is super friendly, and he's the best.

Dr. Chaffoo is a triple board certified surgeon and I have never met or seen better results from any other doctor. If you want to be taken care of, have AMAZING results, and experience top patient care, go with Dr. Chaffoo! I was a little scared of plastic surgery as this was my first time even having a consultation. It is normal to have multiple consultations with different doctors to get a feel for what you like. Right after my rhinoplasty consultation with Dr. Chaffoo, I knew I didn't want anybody else to do my nose but him and I cancelled my other two appts immediately. Dr. Chaffoo made me feel so comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. The staff was so friendly and amazing and their quality of care is truly top notch. Right from the beginning, it was a gut feeling that he would be the doctor to operate my nose and I am SO thankful I chose him! I cannot say enough amazing things about him and La Jolla Plastic Surgery & Dermatology and I recommend him to everyone! Dr. Chaffoo also does other services and if I or anyone I know needed anything of that sort, we will go to him! Thank you for giving me the results I have forever wanted, results that I had no idea were even attainable! If you are on the fence about plastic surgery/not sure what you want/unsure about anything, please have a consultation with him and you will be so happy you did!

Dr.Chaffoo is a highly educated man who knows how to properly cater to each patient's needs. He was the only surgeon out of seven that I saw that gave me my dream nose, while still being realistic with my face shape too. He is honest and never pushes any ideas on me. He showed my mother and I each step he was going to take in order to open up my airways while creating one of the most beautiful noses. Every day at my job I have clients who compliment my features and right away I send them to him. His staff is amazing and overall very professional. Nurse Nancy is an angel and really cares for each person she sees. In conclusion, if you want a surgeon who honestly does the best job, has an amazing mindset and makes sure you are 100% happy then please go see him ASAP:)!!
