NIEMALS bei SIXT Orlando ein Auto mieten. Das Auto wurde durch einen Angestellten am Flughafen übernommen, er kontrollierte das Auto, der Abschlussbericht wies auf keinerlei Mängel hin, alles war ok. Zwei Tage später wurde meine Kreditkarte mit Reinigungskosten durch Rauchen im Auto und einer Spezialreinigung belastet. Betrag über 600 Dollar. Wir sind Nichtraucher und außerdem ordentlich und haben das Auto ohne Rückstände und Abfall hinterlassen. Antwort des Customer Service: Wenn das Auto schmutzig ist, verrechnen wird die Gebühr. Es war aber nicht schmutzig. Nun sind wir in Österreich zurück - wie sollen wir das jemals beweisen. Das ist Betrug!!

We received an upgraded car at no extra cost . We got the car quickly and it was clean and well maintained. Overall a great experience and we will definitely use this company again. Sandra was very accommodating and helped us quickly.

DO NOT RENT From SIXT Orlando I can not believe what just happened here in Orlando. I got to the counter at the Orlando Airport. The salesman told me that they did not have my car and he could give me a luxury SUV at an extra price or I had to wait 3 hrs. Switch and bait. Just a couple moments later the manager told me she is cancelling my reservation because I was going to post on social media he was trying to do a switch and bait. She told me they had my car but was not going to give it to me. I guess I caught them in their scam. I was in Orlando Airport with no car. Lucky I got one from Hertz it was cheaper than theirs. DO NOT RENT FROM SIXT in Orlando. I purchased in full via Priceline then they tried the switch and bait. No one was in line. I guess I know why. I hope the corporate office reviews the video at the counter if they care.

THIS COMPANY NEVER GOT BACK WITH A RESPONSE AFTER I INFORMED THEM OF THE SCAM THIS BRANCH IS DOING TO CUSTOMERS.

If I could give it a minus I would. It's nothing short of a Scam.....

Rented a car for 3 days. Only put 125 miles on the it. When I picked the car up it had multiple scratches, a dent and warning lights on the dash saying tyre pressure sensor. Inside was clean but that's the only advantage.

After returning the car at 11am I received an email at 11:20am saying there was new damage on the car, a crack on the front bumper, deep scratches on the rear, a total of 5 scratches and cracks were noted.

Lucky for me I took photos of the car and I had proof that these were there prior to me renting it. I received another email from the damage department 2 days later with pictures of their own outlining the damage they had found, I was also happy to disclose with them the photographic evidence i had taken and a nice statement on how it was extremely offensive and how disgusted I was to be accused of this sort of damage in a short space of time.

Low and behold 3 days later I received yet another email saying this case was now closed and they will not be taking any further action.

Lesson here is, always take pictures of every panel of the car and any discrepancy inside the car because all they want is to claim from the insurance or take some extra money from your holding deposit.

Safe to say I will never rent a car from this company again.

This is undoubtedly the most dishonest company I've encountered. If you think you're saving money by renting from them, reconsider. They focus on overcharging fees to your credit card, and you'll find yourself paying more than the contract suggests. They lure you in with low advertised rates, but once you sign the contract and return the car, additional charges will hit you—often after you've left, knowing you're out of town. It's truly the worst rental car company out there.

Booked our car with Shawn, really nice guy, very helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend, we had no issues and it was the cheapest most reliable company to book a car at the last minute. Booked here again for a one way booking from Orlando to Miami

I thought we had a great experience with SIXT until I checked my credit card and realized they charged me $400 smoking fee and $250 cleaning fee!

1. My family does not smoke, in fact 2 of us are highly sensitive/allergic to smoke. 2. The car was as clean as when we picked it up. We even emptied out our trash before handing the vehicle back.

There was one attendant at the drop off, a lady, who barely spoke English. She was insisting the car smelled of smoke. She continuously dismissed us when all 4 of us stated we did not smell any smoke. There was an air freshener in the vehicle provided by SIXT as well so I’m not sure what it was she was smelling. She then insisted we had to write a report saying that the smell was there upon pick up. I told her once more there was no smoke smell. She insisted saying I’d be charged $400 for the non existent smell. I was in a rush to catch my flight so I did.

I called customer service and they tell me that it has to be dealt with directly with the location I dropped of to but can’t provide me a phone number, only an email. Then I request to speak to a manager to which I am told there isn’t one available I need to wait up to 48 hours to get a reply to my email. Seriously, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a rental company. And judging by the other reviews, this seems to be a problem with this location and this attendant!!!!

It’s too bad that what initially seemed like a great experience, which I would have gladly recommended to my friend, family and social media following was not turned into a nightmare that I will surely let everyone know about and warn to stay away from. SIXT needs to make this right, asap!
