Even though I rented through Thrifty,they sent me to Hertz parking lot to get my rental. Thrifty,Dollar,and Hertz all seem to be combined at MSP airport and sharing cars between the companies. I ended up with a Mazda 3 for my rental. Cars are somewhat expensive there at about $80 per day for the compact that I got. Overall,I was happy with the car,and the service I received.?

Fantastic experience with Thrifty Car Rental! The staff were friendly and efficient, the car was clean and ready, and the entire process was smooth. I was in and out quickly, and the rates were very reasonable. Highly recommend for anyone flying into Minneapolis! I was a bit nervous at first after seeing several 1 star reviews, but those do not reflect my experience at all. Fast, smooth, and efficient.

They are defrauding me by claiming I caused damage to a rental vehicle. I will NEVER rent from Hertz/Thrifty/Dollar again. They are fraudsters! In response to your response, Hertz/Thrifty/Dollar has already contacted me claiming I owe $358.00 for damage that I did not cause. I have requested video footage from the exit booth which Hertz claimed they cannot get because the airport controls it. I contacted the airport which informed me that, in fact, you control it. Please provide this footage as previously requested. Thank you.

Cant give 1 star wish I could. Paid 500 for a rental car. Paid in advance. Got to Minneapolis from Florida for funeral. And they refused to take my debit or credit card cause it's Chime. Credit card. Credit is credit. Missed my father funeral cause some little rude manager with a superiority complex. Do NOT rent here.

On 10/11/2024 I rented a car until 10/14/2024. I dropped the car off at 5am on 10/14/2024 and the lot wasn’t open so it was drop the car leave keys and go. So that’s what I did. I then board my plan to go back to Pennsylvania from Minnesota. I see a charge the next day no receipt than I finally get a receipt stating $119.02 for 2 extra days. Stating I didn’t drop the car off until 10/16/2024 at 12am. Which is impossible due to I was at work on 10/15/2024 in Pennsylvania and also landed on 10/14/2024 in Baltimore Maryland. Try calling and you can’t talk to a live person. I have now have done 2 forms to say I have proof and no response at all for thrifty. So now I will have to have my credit card company dispute it due to a week later and no response from anyone. I don’t ever do reviews but want to help people for future to not get charged extra for not even having the car and that it was in their possession.

Car was a great deal but when i picked it up it was completely covered in mud. It should have never been given to anyone in this condition . Also would have been nice for there customer service people at MSP airport to tell you you must bring your vehicle back to terminal one rental return, as there are two places you can return at this airport. As a re
sult of them not informing me, I brought it to terminal 2 by mistake and had to ride the Light Rail Transit back to terminal one, and almost missed my return flight.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve used Thrifty before, but never at MSP. Our flight landed at 10pm, and we went to the counter at 10:30pm. No one was there, and all other rental car companies at their counters said that everyone at Thrifty had left for the night already. There were other reservations as well as ours and we were all sitting in the rental car pickup area trying to call the Thrifty corporate number. I finally got a hold of someone, and said they could do nothing if there was no one at the counter in MSP. We were in town for a wedding and had to drive nearly 3 hours away, so picking it up the next morning, which is what the woman on the phone said our only option was. Thrifty at the MSP is simply unreliable and unprofessional. Sixt kindly helped us and the other families out that were in the same boat as us.

After landing at terminal 2 at msp we had to walk to rental car just to see they weren’t open at 330pm on a Saturday. Having to walk all the way back and wait 20 mins for a train to take us to the next terminal to stand in line for 20 mins to take 1 of the 2 employees then sit and wait longer for a car to be available…… 15 computers and 2 locations with 2 employees absolutely a garbage company…. O stars do not recommend!!!
