I took my mom to be seen here, a couple tests were completed before she first saw the doctor. However, this gentleman came in the room with a kind disposition, calm tone when talking to my elderly mother, introduced himself (this never happens at a doctor’s office even on a first visit), then went on to explain what exams he was going to do and asked her permission before touching her. This doctor should be teaching all new doctors how to handle patients. I highly recommend this doctor. In all the offices I’ve ever been in, this doctor is exceptional!

My Urologist, Dr. Schiff, is excellent. He is knowledgeable, gives you the needed time, and has a wonderful bedside manner. He is kind and has a great sense of humor. The staff is friendly, courteous, and patient.
I have only one complaint, and it's a pretty big one. Getting ahold of someone on the phone is remarkably frustrating. Endless wait times and endless queues. More than once I have gone from "15th in the queue" to "#1 in the queue", only to be hung up on, recycled back to the end of the queue, or forwarded to voicemail. I have tried leaving messages and have NEVER received a return call. The only way to speak to anyone at that office is to show up in person.
Remarkably, if you call the billing department, they answer the phone on the second ring.
To whoever is in charge of, your phone/appointment desk system it is A MESS! Please do something to address it, as it ruins an otherwise positive experience with your office.

Dr. Shift and his assistant is fabulous. Calling the office is very frustrating. Your on hold for a long time and prompted to leave a message. No call back. Kevin called to set up follow appointment and left the same main phone number that keeps looping you to voice mail. Ugh!

1st visit today. Dr. Schiff is detailed in collecting information, and uses the information well to formulate his plan of care. I overheard him in the hallway and learned he is hilarious with a great attitude.

Had a good time actually even though I was in pain. Doc is friendly and keeps you on your toes with questions about your health. Odd though he said he could fix everything (maybe he should work for Tail Gunner Joe.) Maybe a bad joke but Dr. Schiff is a great doctor and I highly recommend him.
