I regret choosing Dr. Yin Chien DDS for my dental care. While the front desk staff, particularly Tiffany, are truly exceptional—caring, kind, and helpful—that's where the positive experience ends. The office itself is outdated, drab, and frankly, unclean. It should have been a warning sign, but I proceeded with two root canals, both of which were performed incorrectly.

Subsequent visits to specialists with advanced imaging revealed that Dr. Chien's poor workmanship caused one abscess and left debris in the other root canal. Both specialists advised me to demand a refund. To make matters worse, the crown Dr. Chien applied fell off shortly after, forcing me to return to this subpar office for a repair.

When I requested my dental records, the doctor was reluctant, even suggesting I would need a court order—completely false per California HIPAA laws. I’ve had to follow up multiple times and am still waiting for my records.

While Dr. Chien may have been skilled at one point, his current standard of care and the state of his office leave much to be desired. I cannot recommend this practice for any dental work. Seek care elsewhere for your peace of mind and dental health.

Staff and assistants are extremely nice and pleasant but the “doctor” Is incapable of time management apparently. He schedules like 3 people at one appointment time even though he’s the only actual dentist in the place. So he’ll come in, maybe give you some anesthetic to numb you and then say he’ll be back in a few minutes. Those few minutes turn into 20 or even 40 minutes. Not to mention he’ll take your x rays and miss vital concerns until you literally point them out to him. Place is an absolute joke. Go to western dental.

Dr. Chien is such a caring and gentle Dentist. I had a great experience with my root Canal this morning. He made sure I was OK the entire time and has a very gentle touch. There was 0 discomfort during and now the numbing is wearing off, I still have 0 discomfort or pain. The office staff is always courteous and polite.

Receptionist is always friendly and helpful and remembers the patients and details about them so you feel less nervous just walking in the door. Dr Chien himself is great! Very gentle and constantly asks throughout any procedure how you are tolerating it. My whole family has gone there and none of us have experienced pain because he is good at what he does

Recently got back to getting much needed dental. I neglected care for a very long time. Received excellent care from Dr. Chien and his staff. His practice is his world and gives high quality care. Individualized attention for each patients care is his attribute. I'm continuing my care with Dr. Chien and no one else. Thanks to him and his staff for all that they do. Enjoy your day.

I was visiting family from out of town and lost my crown. Tiffany was excellent in helping get me in to see the doctor and getting all of my insurance taken care of. She’s extremely sweet and treated me like family. Emily was great in making me feel at ease. I thought the doctor was very caring and I felt no anxiety whatsoever, and I am a big baby when it comes to dentists! I would highly recommend this office to everyone. If you go in, tell Tiffany-Go Chiefs!!!!!!

Very welcoming and friendly staff! I can say by far the best dentists up here. I would highly recommend this place over any other one.Trust me when I say they're the best because I've been to another place in yucca and it was awful. They were able to get me in right away and help me with my pain. Tiffany is very friendly and so helpful, she works both front and along side the doctor. Emily is a great assistant to Dr. CHien. Now for Dr. Chien he's by far the best dentists! Made sure I didn't feel any pain. He does excellent work! I'll be using them from now on. If I could give them 10 stars I would! Also, was highly recommended by my close friend and many others.
